RockAuto Sponsorship

We are proud to announce that RockAuto.com is joining our event as a sponsor. Event director, Hans Svane, had these words to say about RockAuto “RockAuto.com has been a show sponsor for the last three years. In my experience, their prices are extremely competitive. When a company supports our event AND is the best deal in town, why wouldn’t I support them.” We’d like to thank RockAuto for sponsoring our event. Order auto parts online from RockAuto.com 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and have them conveniently delivered to your door. Visit RockAuto.com for all the parts your car will ever need! Show now:

2021 Charitable Donations

In 2021 the East Coast Drifters Car Club held two car shows with over 500 registered cars.  With the support of our attendees and many sponsors we were able to provide generous donations to the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge, Hospice of St. Mary’s County, Hospice of Calvert County and Hospice of Charles County.  Donations were also made to the Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The Club also provides meals for families in need throughout the community.

2021 Fall Classic Show:

A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended the East Coast Drifters Fall Classic Car Show on September 26 at the Moose Lodge in Mechanicsville Maryland.  We had 181 registered cars.  It was a beautiful day for families and friends to hang out with the amazing vehicles.  Also want to thank the many sponsors who donated items for the goody bag and contributed to the awards.  Congratulations to Joey Watts, the Best in Show winner.  Joey stated it took him 3 years, but he built the car himself.

In 2021 the Club donated to the four local Hospice Organizations, Wounded Warrior, St. Jude Children’s Research, Wreaths Across America, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, and provided meals for families in need during the holidays.  We will be honored again this year to continue donating to the various charities and families during the holidays.  In 2020, the club was unable to hold their show due to COVID, which affected our ability to donate to the local and National Charities.  We are honored to have such a great turn out this year and will be able to donate generously this year.

If you would like to learn more about the club or become a member, please visit facebook.com/eastcoast.drifters, email us at East.Coast.Drifters.2013@gmail.com, or attend our monthly meetings at the American Legion, Hughesville MD (3rd Monday each month-7 pm).  The East Coast Drifters is a registered 501c7 Charity.
